Wild Pink
The Diagonal Drama Club is putting on a Dessert Theater Friday, March 29. Doors open at 6:30 pm; play starts at 7:00 pm. Desserts and drinks to be served during intermission. The show will be held in The Diagonal Daycare. All tickets are $10. Purchase seats ahead of time by calling Danielle at 641-734-5331 or dropping by the school. The play is called Wild Pink, written by Margaret Witt and produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Company. This comedy starts on the farm. Three boys desperately want to attend college, but there is no money to send them–until their father finds a way.
They have a rich, estranged aunt who decides to give her money to them, but as always, there is a catch. Director Pam Hoffman says, “The crazy things these guys do to secure their future will keep you laughing the whole time! We can’t wait to see you there!”

Coming to Diagonal
The Diagonal Drama Club is planning to perform its Spring play on Friday, March 29, at 6:30 pm in The Diagonal Daycare as a dessert theater. Desserts plus lemonade, tea, and water will be served at intermission. Tickets are on sale now!
Shelly Bentley said, “Let’s do something special for the Spring play this year.”
Therefore, preparations are being made to set up and decorate the gymnasium so it looks special. The theme color is pink, because the name of the play is “Wild Pink”, a comedy written by Margaret Witt and produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Company. Director Pam Hoffman said, “Students are working on the show right now, along with Speech, Archery, Robotics, Track, Quiz Bowl, Math Contest, Basketball Fun Night and other activities!”
Shelly Bentley is planning to have the new front curtains made and hung by show time. They were paid for by fund raisers and generous donations from the D-Club and other community members. Also, a reminder that the new back curtains were possible due to a grant from the Ringgold County Foundation.
Tickets are limited and need to be reserved and paid for ahead of time by calling the Diagonal School or dropping by. The price is $10 which includes the show and desserts. Call 641-734-5331 now to get your tickets!
