What is On-line Parent Access?

The Diagonal Community School is proud to be able to allow our parents an easy, fast, and accurate way to keep track of their child/children's progress at school. The following will list what is available and how to access it.

What is available?

Attendance Reports, Report Cards, Progress Reports, Parental Information, and Lunch status.

How can I access this valuable information?

Simply contact Mr. Teply via email: lteply@aea14.k12.ia.us

In your email provide a password you would like to use.

Once you have been notified you are in the system, simply go to the Diagonal Web http://www.diagonal.k12.ia.us/ and click on Online Parent Access. When the page loads, simply type in your last name and then the password you provided.

That's it! Click on any area you would like to explore and see what is available. Progress reports are normally updated weekly, so you will be able to see where your child is in class. Lunch balances are usually updated daily along with attendance reports.

Anything else available?

Glad you asked, because the answer is yes. Parents and students both can access the Iowa AEA Online feature. Here you can have access to Clip Art, EBSCO (magazine articles, newspapers, videos, etc), Atomic Learning (answers questions about many computer programs), Multimedia Archives, and World Book encyclopedia. To access this, again click on the appropriate link, select the area your want to explore and click on it. Log in name you will need is DG040 and the password is aea14. Try this free service and see if there is anything there you could use.
